Pet Adoption
The San Fernando City Corporation invites you to participate in our Pet Adoption drive. We intend to initiate a housing and life saving adoption principal in caring for the potential future pets at our shelter.
Using this forum, we wish to pair up pets with owners to find their forever homes and look forward to working with NGO’s and citizens in the provision of this new service.

There are many reasons why some pets run away that are sometimes out of the control of their owners. The SFCC has an active dog catching program with reports being made by citizens concerning stray dogs.
Pets found as strays, with no traceable identification, are placed on a three-day stray hold before they are available for adoption. This gives a possible owner time to claim the pet.
A small fee to cover the care of pets that run away will be charged to the owners.
